Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Technology Operations Specialist based in Pune or Bangalore with a strong background in technology operations and service excellence. This role requires a highly motivated professional with a get-it-done attitude who can work independently, manage projects from end to end, and deliver impactful solutions. You will play a critical role in optimizing operational processes, driving automation, and ensuring system reliability and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technology Operations Expertise :
- Manage and enhance multiple operational processes with a focus on Change Management, Availability Management, Asset Management and CMDB.
- Implement innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency and compliance.
- Automation and Engineering Mindset :
- Apply engineering mindset to enhance system reliability, reduce toil, and optimize performance monitoring.
- Ideate automation to eliminate repetitive tasks and improve operational excellence.
- DevOps & Cloud Knowledge :
- Understand CI/CD principles and cloud platforms to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
- Support cloud initiatives through governance and alignment with operational goals.
- Execution Excellence :
- Independently lead and execute multiple technology operations projects with a focus on delivering results.
- Solve problems effectively under tight timelines and changing priorities.
- Stakeholder Communication :
- Present actionable insights, recommendations, and updates to senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with leadership to align technology operations with strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Technical Skills :
- In-depth knowledge of operational processes, particularly in Change & Release Management, Asset Management, and CMDB.
- Familiarity with concepts like error budgets, DevOps, CI/CD principles and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Execution Excellence :
- Proven ability to take ownership and independently deliver complex projects.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills to tackle challenges with a get-it-done mindset.
- Behavioral Attributes :
- Self-motivated, quick learner, and proactive problem solver.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders effectively.
