Role Overview:
We are looking for a Product Architect with a strong AI-native mindset and deep expertise in platform engineering to lead the evaluation and integration of startup technologies into our ecosystem. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology innovation, product strategy, and domain depth .BFSI/Finance exposure is an added advantage. The ideal candidate will bring a frugal innovation mindset, strong platform thinking, and the ability to work seamlessly with tech partners and startup ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Startup Product Evaluation: Assess early-stage and growth-stage startup products for technical robustness, scalability, and strategic fit.
- AI-Native Architecture: Design and guide the development of AI-native platforms using modern, scalable, and secure technology stacks.
- Platform Thinking: Drive modular, reusable, and interoperable platform components that support rapid innovation and integration.
- Partner Collaboration: Work closely with external technology partners, startups, and internal teams to co-create solutions.
- Domain Leadership: Provide thought leadership and architectural guidance in BFSI/Finance domains, ensuring compliance, performance, and relevance.
- Innovation Leadership: Champion frugal innovation by identifying high-impact, cost-effective solutions that deliver business value.
- Technology Scouting: Stay ahead of emerging trends in AI, cloud, data, and financial technologies to inform product strategy.
Required Technical Skills:
AI & ML Technologies:
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain
- Familiarity with LLMs, Generative AI, RAG architectures, and MLOps pipelines
- Understanding of AI model lifecycle, including training, fine-tuning, deployment, and monitoring
Cloud & Platform Engineering:
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of microservices, event-driven architectures, and API-first design
Data & Integration:
- Expertise in data engineering, streaming platforms (Kafka, Spark), and data lakes
- Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, data governance, and real-time analytics
Security & Compliance:
- Understanding of security best practices, data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS)
- Experience in building secure financial platforms with auditability and compliance in mind
Dev Experience & Tools:
- Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, or Node.js
- Familiarity with GitOps, Observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana), and DevSecOps
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in product architecture, platform engineering, or technology strategy roles
- Proven track record of working with or evaluating startup technologies
- Strong domain expertise in Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI)
- Experience in building or scaling AI-native platforms
- Exposure to working with venture ecosystems, accelerators, or tech partnerships.
