Job Description
- The Client Services Technologist is responsible for providing technical support, maintaining computer systems and networks, and assisting users with hardware, software and connectivity issues.
- The role supports day-to-day operations, installs and configures equipment, troubleshoots technical problems, and ensures systems operate efficiently and securely.
- The IT Technologist works closely with other IT team members to support organizational technology needs.
- This is a full-time role, and the person is required to work from Pune Office.
Responsibilities
- Good analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Make recommendations regarding system management, improvements, and enhancements.
- Training new technicians in IT processes and new technologies.
- Performs general problem solving and assistance on diverse software applications and hardware systems for department users.
- Performs the installation, configuration and maintenance of computers, workstations and other related equipment and devices.
- Execute local IT projects, such as office moves, hardware upgrades, and new system implementations.
- Technicians need to have extensive knowledge of operating systems and computer hardware and peripherals.
- They also need to know how networking systems work.
- Good understanding of installations and updates
- Floor walking activities to support Deployment activities
- Must have 2+ years of MS O365 experience.
- Provide hand-off to other service delivery areas prior to project closure.
- Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
- Take on other duties as assigned from time to time.
- The job requires some travelling.
- Assist in IT Client Services Support for all Oceaneering Offices.
- Other special duties as assigned by Management.

Education And/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years in IT support as a Tier II technician, including 2 years of hands-on experience with deep knowledge of Windows/Linux OS operating systems, Active Directory, network protocols (DHCP, DNS, LAN/WAN), and M365
- Experience with Microsoft Azure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Hardware/Software troubleshooting.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Practical knowledge of Active Directory Federation Service, Azure and O365 solutions (SharePoint online, OneDrive, Teams, Planner etc.)
- Knowledge of Hardware/Software Troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, server administration, operating systems, and cybersecurity.
