Job Description

Overview of the position:

The role of a Techno-Functional BA Lead will be a key member of the Compliance IT org. You will closely work with development and QA teams as well as an outside vendors. The team works with State Street IT teams and an outside vendors to deliver technical solutions to KYC business and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for liaising with business and compliance teams to obtain, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes in KYC applications.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Technical Delivery Management:Lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable technology solutions,
  • Lead efforts on Data analysis, data modeling and Cloud migration.
  • Work with development teams, business stakeholders and continuously focus on the product enhancements
  • Elicit and interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements so that requirements are clearly understood, prioritized appropriately and implemented
  • Provide solutions to complex business processes related to Know Your Customer (KYC) applications and regulatory data/document collection requirements
  • Write User Stories and work with globally distributed Agile team across multi

Experience:

At least 18+ years proven experience in software delivery, specifically within banking or financial services (BFSI) focusing on Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Sanctions programs.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong executive presence and ability to communicate complex technical issues to C-suite/VP stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to lead offshore/onshore teams. Consulting mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity.

Mandatory skills / experience:

Technical Expertise:

  • Deep, hands-on knowledge of Spark, PySpark, Scala, and Databricks Lakehouse architecture.

  • Proficiency in AWS services (S3, EMR, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, IAM).

  • Languages: Expert-level proficiency in SQL and Python.

  • DevOps: Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Terraform).

Mode of work: Hybrid - expected to work 4 days work from office
