Role brief

The Multi-Skilled Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and installation activities across various technical disciplines including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. The role ensures that all equipment and facilities are operating efficiently and safely.

Key responsibilities

1. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment and systems
2. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC issues
3. Conduct preventative maintenance to prevent equipment failures and prolong the lifespan of systems
4. Install new equipment and systems as required
5. Upgrade existing systems to improve efficiency and performance
6. Assist in the planning and execution of facility improvement projects
7. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with relevant health and safety regulations
8. Maintain a clean and safe working environment
9. Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and operations.
10. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities
11. Prepare reports on equipment status and maintenance performed
12. Work closely with other technicians and maintenance staff to ensure seamless operations
13. Communicate effectively with supervisors, managers, and other departments regarding maintenance issues and schedules
14. Provide training and guidance to junior technicians as needed
15. Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner
16. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support

Qualifications

1. Minimum 12th pass
2. Diploma in electrical or a graduate from ITI institute preferred
3. Minimum 3 years of experience in a hotel, club, cruise, restaurant, etc.
4. Extensive operational knowledge of equipments & systems
5. Outstanding communication, interpersonal time-management skills
6. Flexible to relocate
