Job Description

  • As a Technician in Plastic Surgery, you would play a vital role in assisting plastic surgeons and other medical professionals in various aspects of plastic surgery procedures
  • Your responsibilities may include:Preparing Surgical Equipment: Sterilizing and setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies needed for plastic surgery procedures
  • Ensuring that all necessary tools are available and in working condition
  • Assisting in Surgeries: Providing direct assistance to plastic surgeons during surgical procedures
  • This may involve handing instruments, sutures, and other surgical tools to the surgeon, holding retractors, and assisting with wound closure
  • Patient Preparation: Assisting in the preoperative preparation of patients, such as positioning them on the operating table, ensuring their comfort, and applying sterile drapes to maintain a sterile surgical environment
  • Wound Care and Dressing: Assisting with postoperative wound care, including cleaning and dressing wounds, monitoring for signs of infection or complications, and ensuring proper healing
