Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Testing & Validation:

  • Perform High Potential Testing of electrical products, ensuring their safety and compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct functional testing of electronic components, systems, and electromechanical systems to verify operational functionality.
  • Perform testing of pressure sensors and sensing equipment to characterize their performance under different conditions, including temperature and pressure variations.
  • Conduct testing on Resin and Hardener Potting Equipment to ensure their effective operation for electronic component encapsulation.
  • Utilize pressure-temperature characterization systems to test and analyze sensor outputs and system behaviors.

Software & Systems Handling:

  • Handle and troubleshoot software for electromechanical systems, ensuring all components are functioning properly and meeting performance criteria.
  • Use PLCs for system control, automation, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure software integration with test systems and test equipment for seamless operation and data acquisition.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Document test procedures, results, and deviations in line with internal quality and safety standards.
  • Prepare detailed test reports, including analysis of test data, issues, and proposed solutions.
  • Maintain and update MS Office documentation to track test results, progress, and project updates.

Collaboration & Support:

  • Work closely with engineering teams to design test systems and implement necessary improvements based on test outcomes.
  • Support the integration of test results into broader project development cycles.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Electrical and Electronics Test Systems: Prior experience in setting up and using complex electrical and electronics testing systems for validating product performance.
  • Experience with Pressure Sensors & Sensing Equipment: Familiarity with the design, testing, and calibration of pressure sensors and associated sensing technologies.
  • Proven Track Record: Previous roles that involved product testing, sensor characterization, and electromechanical systems.

Essential Skills:

  • Hands-On Experience with Testing Equipment:
  • Proficiency in High Potential Testing, electronic programming, and functional testing of electromechanical systems.
  • Experience with Resin and Hardener Potting Equipment and Pressure-Temperature Characterization Systems for product testing and calibration.
  • Software & Systems Handling:
  • Experience in managing software for electromechanical systems, ensuring smooth integration with hardware and other devices for testing purposes.
  • Proficient in operating PLCs for automation and troubleshooting.
  • Technical Knowledge:
  • Strong operating knowledge of MS Office, ensuring efficient documentation and reporting of test procedures and results.
  • Familiarity with computer software systems relevant to the testing of electrical/electronic systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in electrical and electronics testing, with specific expertise in pressure sensors, sensing equipment, and electromechanical systems testing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and reporting.
