Job Overview
We are seeking a Technical Yardi Specialist to support the Accounting and Property Management teams with system-related issues, configurations, reporting, and troubleshooting within the Yardi platform. This role requires strong technical knowledge of Yardi modules along with an understanding of real estate accounting workflows.
The ideal candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of resolving technical challenges independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting within Yardi (Voyager and related modules)
- Assist the accounting team with system errors, posting issues, ledger discrepancies, and report-related challenges
- Configure and maintain chart of accounts, property setups, user roles, and security permissions
- Create and customize financial and operational reports
- Support integrations between Yardi and third-party systems
- Assist with data imports, exports, and system migrations
- Coordinate with Yardi support for escalated technical issues
- Train team members on system best practices and new functionalities
- Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and system optimization
Required Qualifications
- 3–6+ years of hands-on experience with Yardi (Voyager preferred)
- Strong understanding of property accounting workflows (AP, AR, GL, Bank Reconciliation, CAM, etc.)
- Experience with report writing and system configuration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting US-based real estate portfolios
- Knowledge of affordable housing, commercial, or multifamily modules (if applicable)
- Experience with data migration and system implementation
- Familiarity with SQL or database-level understanding (a plus)
