Technical Writer

We are currently looking to hire an Instructional Designer / Technical Writer.

This position will focus on designing and developing engaging eLearning content, product walkthroughs, tutorials, and technical documentation for our client's core product. The role requires close collaboration with product experts, project engineers, and the training content team to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly learning materials for both internal teams and clients.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing eLearning courses, simulations, and training modules our core product
• Creating instructional assets such as scripts, storyboards, video walkthroughs, infographics, and assessments
• Working closely with subject matter experts to identify learning needs and define course objectives
• Developing interactive content using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro or similar LMS authoring tools
• Managing and maintaining content on our LMS platforms (MGSLearn, MGSEmployee, MGSservices)
• Ensuring alignment with Maxwell GeoSystems branding and learning standards
• Reviewing learner feedback and continuously improving existing content

Ideal candidate profile:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communication, or a related field
• 25 years of experience in instructional design or eLearning content development (technology/engineering background preferred)
• Experience working with LMS platforms and content management systems
• Strong communication and technical writing skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with global teams
