About the Role: We're seeking a Technical Writer to lead and manage product and technical documentation for our BNPL (Buy Now, Pay Later) platform. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and compliance teams to create clear, accurate, and developer-friendly documentation across our APIs, SDKs, backend systems, and merchant integration guides.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and maintain high-quality, structured documentation for: BNPL merchant onboarding flow API and SDK references (REST, Webhooks, Events) Credit decisioning & checkout orchestration flows Integration guides for merchants, lenders, and platforms Repayment flows, refunds, and reconciliation processes Product feature releases, changelogs, and knowledge base article

Work with engineering and product teams to understand technical designs and user requirements

Simplify complex financial processes into clear, user-friendly documentation

Collaborate with the compliance and legal teams to ensure regulatory clarity

Own the information architecture of our developer portal and internal wiki

Create diagrams and flowcharts (e.g. customer lifecycle, transaction flow)

Maintain the documentation stack (Docusaurus, GitHub Pages, Markdown, OpenAPI)

Requirements:

Must-Have:

25 years of experience in fintech, payments, or lending documentation

Ability to write for developers, product teams, and merchant stakeholders

Familiarity with REST APIs, Swagger/Postman, Markdown, Git

Experience documenting payments, EMI, or credit lifecycle APIs

Bonus Points:

Experience with debt or credit products

Understanding of PCI DSS, KYC/AML, data localization

Ability to work with JSON, webhooks, Figma, Lucidchart

Knowledge of India Stack (Aadhaar, UPI, etc.)

Location: Bangalore Working Days: Monday - Friday
