Responsibilities:

• Create complex product documentation, including technical specifications, datasheets, programming guide, and register documents
• Gather and synthesize information from a variety of internal sources and documents within the organization
• Collaborate with engineering to obtain content and ensure accuracy
• Translate complex concepts into easy-to-understand content
• Create diagrams and tables to clarify complex ideas
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, and design documentation
• Develop document automation tools to improve efficiency

Required

• 7-10 years writing for semiconductor or embedded system domains
• Ability and desire to learn new tools and technologies
• Results-driven self-starter, able to work independently to achieve success
• Strong time-management skills in a fast-paced and demanding environment
• Fluent in English, with excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience with tools such as FrameMaker, Atlassian tools, Draw.io (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
• Strong analytical and research abilities and manage multiple documentation projects

Preferred

• Bachelor of Science degree in a science or engineering related field with formal training in Technical Writing, or Bachelor of English, Journalism with experience in hardware industry
• Experience with Mark-down, DITA, XML-structured authoring, single-sourcing principles
