Job Requirements

  • Gather information from subject matter experts, product managers, and developers to understand product and documentation requirements.
  • Produce high-quality documentation, including user manuals, online help guides, and tutorials.
  • Develop content plans and strategies to ensure documentation is comprehensive and user-friendly.
  • Review and edit content for clarity, consistency, and accuracy, ensuring adherence to company standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align documentation with product development and release schedules.
  • Organize and structure documentation to enhance usability and accessibility.

Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institution.
  • 2+ years in technical writing or documentation roles

Technical Proficiency

  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and ability to translate complex information into simple, understandable content.

Writing Skills

  • Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail and grammar.

Tools and Software

  • Proficiency in documentation tools such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and content management systems.
  • Familiarity with version control systems and documentation standards.

Analytical Skills

  • Ability to analyse and synthesize information from various sources.

Team Collaboration

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Additional Technical Knowledge

  • Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Ability to quickly grasp new technologies and tools.
  • Familiar with CREO, manufacturing processes, and GD&T.
