Role Summary
Create comprehensive, user-friendly documentation for various modules across products. Develop documentation strategy, templates, and processes for internal and external audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Create user guides, help articles, and FAQ documentation
- Document API specifications and integration guides
- Develop internal technical documentation and runbooks
- Create training materials for support and customer success teams
- Maintain and update documentation as features evolve
- Develop documentation templates and style guides
- Conduct user testing on documentation clarity and usability
- Manage documentation tools and platforms
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and support teams
- Ensure documentation accessibility and searchability
Required Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years of technical writing experience
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Experience with API and technical documentation
- Proficiency with documentation tools (Confluence, Notion, GitBook, etc.)
- Basic understanding of software development concepts
- Experience with Markdown or similar markup languages
- Ability to translate complex concepts for different audiences
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams
Nice to Have
- Experience with video creation and screen recording tools
- Knowledge of SEO and documentation discoverability
- Proficiency with GitHub or version control for documentation
- Experience with information architecture and IA design
