About the Role
:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Documentation Manager to lead
ahigh performing team of technical writers in delivering world class product documentation. This role is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented leader who values clarity, consistency, and empowering customers through exceptional content. You will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, UX, and customer facing teams to produce accurate, accessible, and user focused documentation that supports and enhances Verint's innovative software solution
s.
Key Responsibiliti
es:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technical writers in an agile software develop
mentenvironm
ent. Manage the full documentation lifecycle, including planning, scoping, authoring, review
ing,editing, publishing, and maintaining cont
ent. Serve as a documentation and content strategy leader, lead cross functional meetings
andworking sessions, facilitate discussions and guide decision making, building consensus
andgaining buy in across the organization by working cross-functionally with teams
andindividual stakeholders, providing creative solutions to complex probl
ems. Manage workloads, allocate projects, and balance team capacity, ensuring ti
melydeliverables and adherence to quality standa
rds. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to gather information and stay aligned
withproduct roadmaps and release cyc
les. Oversee the creation of user guides, online help, API documentation, release notes,
andknowledge base materials using MadCap Fl
are. Actively leverage AI tools throughout the full documentation authoring lifecycle to accele
ratecontent creation, improve quality, and increase efficie
ncy. Drive improvements in documentation workflows, tooling, content reuse, automation and use o
f AI Help to define documentation standards, style guidelines, and best practices to en
sureconsistency and quality across all deliverab
les. Ensure documentation meets accessibility, compliance, and localization requireme
nts. Advocate for customers needs by ensuring documentation is intuitive, complete, and aligned With product usability go
als. Coordinate with HR and recruiting in hiring new writers, including interviewing
andDeveloping selection crite
ria. Own and drive the content roadmap, aligning documentation strategy with product vis
ion,business goals, and customer ne
eds. Measure success and continuously improve, using qualitative feedback and data to
makedata-driven decisions that refine strategy and execut
ion.
Required Qualifica
tion:
8+ years of experience managing technical writers within an agile software devel
opmentenviro
nment. Strong leadership experience, including hiring, coaching, and performance manag
ement. Proficiency with MadCap Flare, including topic-based writing, single source publishin
g, andcontent reuse strat
egies. Experience of using AI tools as part of the content development life
cycle. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in fast paced p
roductrelease c
ycles. Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management s
kills. Proven experience establishing documentation standards, workflows, and best prac
tices. Strong presentation and storytelling skills, with comfort presenting to both technical a
nd nontechnical audi
ences. Demonstrated success influencing without direct authority and earning trust
acrossengineering, product, UX, and leadership
teams. Strategic mindset with the ability to see beyond individual documents to broader c
ontentsystems and user journeys. Advocating and pushing for changes that would serve our
usersand improve the overall customer expe
rience Ability to work effectively and communicate in English (both written and v
erbal)
Preferred Qualific
ations:
Knowledge of Workforce Management (WFM), Quality Management, contact center
softwaresolutions, or related enterprise software p
roducts. Experience managing technical content in GitHub or similar distributed version
control
Systems. Familiarity with modern CI/CD documentation pipelines and / or automated pu
blishingWo
rkflows. Understanding of API documentation and developer facing
content. Experience working with global teams, hybrid and remote working environme
nts, andSupporting localization pr
ocesses. Experience managing the development of eLearning and instructional videos to su
pplementthe docume
