Description:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer with a minimum of 6 years experience within the medical, healthcare, biotech, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences sectors to join our team onsite in Bangalore. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and enhancing high-quality technical documentation for medical devices, software solutions, cloud services, and AI-enabled products while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.

This role requires a strong understanding of structured authoring, content management systems, AI-assisted documentation practices, and modern documentation delivery methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain user guides, service manuals, online help systems, and knowledge base content.
• Work closely with SMEs to gather requirements and produce high-quality documentation.
• Manage content through XML authoring and CCMS workflows.
• Apply AI-assisted authoring tools while ensuring accuracy, governance, and compliance.
• Develop documentation standards, templates, metadata models, and reusable content.
• Support cloud-enabled and AI-powered products with clear user and technical documentation.
  
  

Qualifications:


Key Requirements

• 6+ years of experience creating and managing technical publications throughout the product lifecycle.
• Strong technical writing, content architecture, and documentation management skills.
• Expertise with Oxygen XML, Astoria CCMS, Adobe FrameMaker, Microsoft Office, and Photoshop.
• Hands-on experience using Microsoft 365 Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude, or similar AI tools for content creation and optimization.
• Experience creating structured, metadata-rich, AI-ready content for enterprise search, chatbots, and RAG solutions.
• Proficient on cloud technologies, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure DevOps, Jira, and ServiceNow.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with global cross-functional teams.
• Fluent English.
  
  

Nice to Have

• Experience in Medical Devices, Healthcare, Software, or other regulated industries.
• Knowledge of Docs-as-Code, Git, Markdown, CI/CD, APIs, Cloud Services, AI/ML products, and SaMD.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485, IEC 62304, FDA, MDR/IVDR, GDPR, and HIPAA.
