Technical Writer

Summary:We are looking for a smart, self-driven person having a graduate degree in Journalism, English, Communication or a related field and having strong technical writing skills who can create user manuals, and technical documentations for our secure web-based products.

The candidate should have excellent written communication skills in English and strong knowledge in various documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Doc-To-Help, FrameMaker, Confluence, Robohelp or any similar tools. Further it requires good multitasking skills where the candidate can manage multiple tasks effectively with high productivity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this position include the following:

• Understanding the expEDIum suite of products/features in depth.
• Planning, organizing, authoring, editing, and releasing a variety of technical documents.
• Creating, updating and maintaining online help documentation.
• Maintain documentation for previous product versions/revisions to technical literature.
• Write release notes and support documentation, when required.
• Contributing to strategic initiatives around content restructuring, new tool selection, and internal process improvements.
• Any other relevant tasks

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree with Journalism, English, Communication or a related field.
• Strong written communication skills in English.
• Expertise in using MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, Power Point and documentation tools.
• Any Certification on technical documentation is a bonus.
• 3 to 5 years of Experience in Technical writer
