Bootcamp Overview:

This 15-week, intensive Cybersecurity Advanced Pathway bootcamp is designed to equip learners with practical, job-ready skills in IT fundamentals, networking, security implementation, and cybersecurity analysis. The program emphasizes hands-on learning, real-world problem-solving, and certification preparation for CompTIA A+, Security+, and CySA+. Through structured instruction, labs, and assessments, students gain the technical expertise and critical thinking abilities required to succeed in cybersecurity operations, penetration testing, and incident response roles.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Instructor to lead this immersive training program. The instructor will provide expert guidance, facilitate hands-on labs, and mentor students to ensure they develop both theoretical knowledge and practical cybersecurity skills. The role requires a professional with a strong blend of industry experience and instructional expertise who can engage, challenge, and support learners throughout the program.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver structured, instructor-led training covering IT fundamentals, networking, security implementation, and cybersecurity analysis.
  2. Conduct interactive classroom sessions, hands-on labs, and live demonstrations using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
  3. Support students in certification exam preparation through practice tests, review sessions, and targeted guidance.
  4. Provide mentorship and career guidance, helping students build problem-solving skills and cybersecurity expertise.
  5. Assist in curriculum revisions where applicable to ensure alignment with evolving cybersecurity threats, best practices, and certification requirements.
  6. Ensure a balance of theoretical understanding and practical application, integrating real-world scenarios and industry-relevant exercises.
  7. Foster a dynamic and engaging learning environment, adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  2. 3 to 5+ years of industry experience in cybersecurity operations, SOC analysis, penetration testing, or network security.
  3. Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CEH, CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent.
  4. Hands-on experience with firewalls, SIEM tools, penetration testing, cryptography, vulnerability management, and incident response.
  5. Familiarity with Kali Linux, Wireshark, Metasploit, Nessus, Splunk, and other security tools.
  6. Experience working with compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, and cloud security principles.
  7. At least 3 yearsof teaching, mentoring, or corporate training experience is preferred.
  8. Excellent communication, presentation, and student engagement skills.
