The Technical Trainer is responsible for providing hands-on technical training, managing computer labs, and supporting students in developing practical skills in computer engineering subjects. The role involves conducting lab sessions, workshops, and skill-based training programs aligned with the department's academic curriculum.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct practical/lab sessions for UG and PG students as per the academic timetable.
- Deliver technical training in subjects such as Programming (C, C++, Java, Python), Data Structures, DBMS, Operating Systems, Networking, and Web Technologies.
- Prepare lab manuals, experiment guides, and assessment materials.
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot computer lab hardware and software.
- Assist faculty in organizing seminars, workshops, hackathons, and technical events.
- Evaluate student practical performance and maintain assessment records.
- Guide students on mini-projects, technical certifications, and skill development activities.
- Coordinate with the placement cell to deliver industry-oriented skill training.
- Ensure software licenses, lab equipment, and systems are up to date and operational.
- Maintain attendance, lab records, and submit reports as required by the department.
