Job Summary

While manual testing is still important, there's an increasing focus on automating various testing types - functional, regression, visual, performance, and compatibility. As a Technical Test Engineer, you will contribute to our automation efforts, helping enhance overall quality and efficiency.
Roles and Responsibilities will include:
Work in agile environments, preferably using Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
Assist in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements.
Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and report issues effectively.
Perform UI, functional, regression, and smoke testing.
Log bugs and provide clear documentation of test results.
Show eagerness to learn and contribute proactively in a team environment.
Maintain a high standard of work ethics and professionalism.
Professional And Technical Skills
1.5–3 years of experience in the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Hands-on experience with automation tools like Cypress or Playwright.
Basic knowledge of creating and maintaining automation frameworks.
Programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript (Python is a plus).
Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
Familiarity with BDD (e.g., Cucumber) or TDD (e.g., JUnit) is desirable.
Basic understanding of testing RESTful APIs.
Experience with Git-based version control systems like GitHub or GitLab.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
Exposure to build tools like NPM or Maven.
Additional Information
Some experience in Selenium and Java-based automation.
Exposure to cloud testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured.
Basic experience with mobile automation tools (e.g., Appium).
Understanding of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
Experience in generating reports using tools like Allure or Extent Reports.
Awareness of Docker or containerized environments is a plus.
Basic understanding of security testing is an advantage.
Good to have knowledge/experience in the E-commerce domain.
