Technical Support Specialist

Role Overview:

We are seeking a results-driven Technical Specialist to lead formulation development and provide expert application support for our Home and Personal Care portfolio. You will act as the bridge between chemical innovation and customer needs, ensuring our ingredients deliver superior performance in end-products like skincare, detergents, and specialty cleaners etc.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Formulation & R&D: Lead the development, optimization, and reformulation of personal care (skin, hair, sun care) and home care (detergents, surface cleaners) products.

·        Technical Support: Provide hands-on troubleshooting and technical guidance to clients regarding ingredient selection, compatibility, and usage.

·        Performance Testing: Conduct benchmarking, competitive evaluations, and stability testing to validate product claims.

·        Documentation: Prepare technical data sheets (TDS), application notes, and formulation guides for internal and external stakeholders.

·        Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends such as clean beauty, sustainability, and regulatory shifts (e.g., REACH, GHS).

·        Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams to conduct product demonstrations and technical workshops for manufacturers.

Required Qualifications:

·        Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or a related scientific field.

·        Experience: 1-2+ years of hands-on experience in formulation or technical service within the HPC chemicals industry.

·        Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of raw materials like surfactants, emulsifiers, rheology modifiers, polymers, and preservatives etc.

·        Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with safety standards, hazardous material handling, and industry-specific compliance.
