Position Overview
We are seeking
Field Engineers to provide
Level 1 (L1) technical support across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have
6 months to 1 year of experience in hardware, networking, and IT support, with working knowledge of
Linux systems and
computer hardware . This role requires mobility, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering timely technical assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L1 technical support for IT infrastructure, hardware, and networking issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems related to compute hardware, Linux systems, and networking equipment .
- Perform routine maintenance, installation, and configuration of IT hardware.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot software applications across user systems.
- Manage, monitor, and maintain SIP trunks , ensuring proper call routing and service availability.
- Coordinate with SIP providers for issue resolution, outages, or configuration-related escalations.
- Collaborate with higher-level support teams for escalations.
- Document issues, resolutions, and maintain service logs.
- Ensure timely response to service requests across assigned locations.
- Travel within the city/region to attend client sites as required.
Required Skills Qualifications
- Experience: 6 months 1 year in IT support, hardware, or networking.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance
- Networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, switches, routers)
- Linux OS basics (installation, configuration, troubleshooting)
- Computer hardware knowledge (servers, desktops, laptops)
- Application installation troubleshooting
- Basic understanding of VoIP, SIP protocols SIP trunk operations
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Additional Requirements
- Two-wheeler is mandatory for field mobility.
- Rotational week off (flexible schedule).
- Immediate joiners preferred.
