Technical Support Engineer

SUMMARY

We're looking for a Technical Support Engineer Data / ETL to provide 24/7 production and technical support for our data platforms and applications. You will work handson with SQL, Unix/Linux, ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and ITIL workflows to ensure seamless system operations.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys analytical problem-solving, fast-paced environments, and cross-functional collaboration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide roundtheclock production and operational support for data and application systems
• Troubleshoot issues related to ETL jobs, data pipelines, and database processes
• Monitor and respond to system incidents using ITIL-based processes and ticketing tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams
• Analyse logs, system alerts, and data errors to perform root-cause analysis
• Support database and data warehouse environments
• Document incidents, resolutions, and support procedures
• Drive process improvements to enhance system stability and reliability

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree required - B.E / B.Tech / BCA / B.Sc or equivalent
• 57 years in a technical or production support environment
• Comfortable working in a 24/7 shift-based support structure
• SQL / PLSQL
• Unix / Linux environments
• Data Warehousing concepts
• ETL workflows and tools
• ITIL processes & ticketing systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Clear and effective communication across technical teams
