About The Role

The L1 Technical Support Engineer at FutureCalls Technology Private Limited plays a vital role in providing first-level technical assistance to our clients. This position involves addressing and resolving a variety of hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal user experience. As a frontline support provider, the engineer will communicate effectively with end-users via phone, email, and ticketing systems, diagnosing problems accurately and offering effective solutions. The role requires a proactive approach to incident management, adherence to SLA guidelines, and maintaining detailed records of all interactions and resolutions. Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in technical support or a related field. Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, MS Office applications, and networking fundamentals is essential. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-centric approach. A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professionals (MCP) will be considered an added advantage. The candidate must be willing to work in Bangalore (Jaya Nagar) and be available to work from Monday to Saturday as per the company's schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1 technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems to address user queries and technical issues promptly and professionally.
  • Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and network problems to ensure minimal disruption to end-users.
  • Monitor, log, and manage incidents in accordance with Service Level Agreement (SLA) guidelines, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
  • Assist users with password resets, access management, and application support to facilitate smooth operational workflows.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed incident and resolution records in the ticketing system for future reference and reporting.
  • Collaborate with higher support levels or technical teams for complex issues beyond the scope of Level 1 support.
  • Stay updated with the latest technological trends and support tools to improve service quality.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and customer service skills.
