As a Technical Support Engineer – AV, you will provide L1 hands-on support for AV systems across multiple client sites. You will troubleshoot AV hardware, software, and connectivity issues, set up rooms for meetings and events, and own the ticket lifecycle from first contact to resolution.
What You'll DoProvide L1 technical support for AV systems including projectors, displays, video conferencing endpoints, microphones, speakers, and control systems.
Set up and support meeting rooms, conference calls, webinars, and live events at client sites.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues across AV equipment — displays, touch panels, cameras, and audio devices.
Travel to multiple client sites based on service tickets and SLA priorities.
Coordinate with internal IT teams and external OEM vendors for escalated issues.
Perform routine checks, testing, and preventive maintenance across deployed AV environments.
Assist users with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex, and other collaboration platforms.
Assign IPs on AV devices, update firmware, and upload programs to control systems.
Maintain AV inventory and service documentation.
Must-Have
2+ years of hands-on AV technical support experience.
Working knowledge of major AV brands — Samsung, LG, Panasonic, Poly, Logitech.
Familiarity with Crestron, QSC, and Extron basics.
Comfort with video conferencing platforms — Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex.
Basic networking knowledge — LAN, HDMI, VGA, USB, IP-based AV.
Strong troubleshooting and customer-facing communication skills.
Own a two-wheeler for daily travel to client sites within and around Bengaluru.
Vendor certifications from Crestron, QSC, or Extron.
Exposure to firmware upgrades and control-system programming uploads.
Experience supporting live events and webinars at scale.
