Job Description

Technical Consultant is responsible for debugging and resolving the functional and technical issues reported by UAT/Live client reported issues.

Essential duties of the position:

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in Technical Support using MS-SQL & Java
  • Provide technical support and assistance to customers.
  • Debug and troubleshoot the issues raised by multiple users/internal stakeholders and identify the bugs and raise them to the product team for getting fixed.
  • Guide the users of the application/product for solutions.
  • Analyze the system logs and error messages to pinpoint the problems.
  • Use of MS-SQL to find the engineering configuration issues.
  • Identify and suggest workaround solutions wherever possible.
  • Create and maintain documentation on common issues and solutions.
  • Write SOP documents for the issue debugging and steps taken to resolve the issues.
  • implement preventive measures to avoid recurring issues.
  • Provide training to the required internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Product, engineering, consulting, quality assurance and production support teams on understanding the issues and finding solutions in a timely manner.

Desired requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of MS-SQL (Database) on writing queries to extract the data.
  • Knowledge on the sprint life cycle of a product.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and teamwork.
  • Knowledge on JIRA and agile methodology.
