The Storage Division (Data Center Solutions) strives to be the preferred partner for storage, memory, connectivity and end-point storage solutions for the world's data centers including AI Infrastructure.We deliver innovative solutions aligned to market transitions through strategic industry partnerships.
Microchip Technology Inc. has a Technical Staff Engineer - Hardware job opening. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading new projects in PCIe 5.0 board level designs for RAID storage controller card.You will work closely with other Hardware Engineers, Software Product Test, NPI and PM teams to bring new RAID storage controller cards from prototype stage to market production.
Responsibilities:
Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
12+ years of relevant experience
6-10 of years of experience in Board Design:
DDR4/5 circuit design
I2C/I3C circuit design
CPLD/FPGA Logic design
PCIe 4.0/5.0 design
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of AGILE Product Lifecycle Management system
Strong Communications Skills
Strong Debug Skills
