Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Technical Engineer to support IT project deployments across various locations. The role involves end-to-end setup and troubleshooting of desktops, user management, basic server/storage configuration, and ensuring smooth IT infrastructure execution at client sites.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Desktop Deployment & Troubleshooting

  • Install and configure desktop hardware and software.

  • Perform OS installation, imaging, and upgrades.

  • Troubleshoot desktop/laptop hardware, software, and applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

2. User & Application Management

  • Manage users in O365 and Google Workspace (Gsuite).

  • Perform user management in Active Directory.

  • Troubleshoot user access issues in enterprise applications.

3. Peripheral Device Setup

  • Install and configure printers, scanners, and imaging devices.

  • Resolve peripheral device issues.

4. Network Troubleshooting

  • Handle basic LAN/WAN connectivity issues.

  • Escalate network-related issues when necessary.

5. Data Backup & Recovery

  • Assist in user data backups and recovery.

  • Use backup tools for critical systems and end-user devices.

6. OEM Call Management

  • Log and manage support calls with OEMs.

  • Handle warranty coordination, parts replacement, and escalation.

7. Project Deployment Support

  • Assist in IT project rollouts including infrastructure readiness.

  • Document procedures, configurations, and deployment guides.

Requirements

Educational Qualification:

  • Graduate (Any stream) or relevant field experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years in IT deployment or technical support.

Technical Skills:

  • Good understanding of systems and OS installations.

  • Proficiency in desktop hardware and enterprise applications.

  • O365 and Gsuite user management.

  • Active Directory user and group management.

  • Basic networking (LAN/WAN) knowledge.

  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and OEM processes.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

  • Good problem-solving ability.

  • Able to work independently and in a team.

Preferred:

  • Relevant IT certifications.

  • Experience with IT project lifecycles and deployments.
