Job Description

Area(s) of responsibility

  • Provide tier 3 support and management to Webex environment.
  • Engineer and implement Webex capabilities for the existing environment and for expansion.
  • Operate with a focus on Webex calling, video devices, meetings and organizational settings which may include directory, security and automation.
  • Ensure all production changes are made in accordance with production lifecycle methodology and risk/change management guidelines.
  • Actively participate in architecture reviews and strategic development activities.
  • Proactively manage and keep the collaborations system operational.
  • Identify new use cases, glean from various channels including trouble tickets and other end user interactions.
  • Create and implement new capabilities to support increased overall productivity.

Technical Qualifications

  • 3+ years of equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with engineering and administrating the Webex suite of products.
  • Possess an intermediate level of IP networking knowledge.
  • Strong hands-on technical skills, an analytical problem-solving mindset, delivery focus and client-orientation are all critical for this role.
  • Experience implementing and administrating with Cisco video devices
  • Experience working with Cisco cloud providers for telephony.
  • Familiarity with analyzing usage of workspaces, devices, and calling.
  • Experience working with the Webex app for laptops and mobile devices.
  • Experience with new office / company integrations, able to identify requirements to implement in Webex.
  • Familiar with Webex development and API.

General Qualifications

  • Experience with other UC platforms such as MSTeams and Zoom.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills to engage with users.
  • Candidates have outstanding communication and documentation abilities.
  • Candidates are resourceful and able to work independently.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Cisco.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and problem management.
  • Candidate is a cooperative team member.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Technical certifications (Cisco) are preferred.
