Job Description

Cradlepoint is seeking a dynamic Technical & Solution Sales Support specialist focused on Cognitive Network Solutions (CNS). Within our Global Pre-Sales Center - Bid Office Organization, you will be responsible for providing essential technical and domain expertise throughout the sales cycle, particularly for solutions related to the RAN Intelligent Controller (RIC) and rApps. You will work closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to demonstrate technical feasibility and ensure that proposed solutions perfectly align with customer requirements.

What You Will Do: Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality responses for RFx/tender documents within specified timelines.
  • Develop robust solution architectures and respond to RFPs/RFIs for rApp-based offerings, showcasing their value.
  • Support pre-sales RFx deliverables, including Statement of Compliance (SoC), Dimensioning, Hardware/Software configuration in ECP/ACS (or similar tools), detailed Solution Descriptions, and accurate services estimates.
  • Align solution and proposal strategies with Customer Units (CUs) and provide comprehensive support.
  • During the RFX process, engage directly with customer units to thoroughly understand their business and technical needs related to RAN optimization and automation.
  • Articulate the technical capabilities and business benefits of rApps clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
  • Create comprehensive technical documentation, including solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, and integration plans.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Network Management, Business New areas) to tailor rApp solutions based on specific customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with product management to influence the rApp product roadmap based on valuable market feedback and customer insights.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: At least 6-10 years of experience in the Telecom industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or similar.
  • Sales Process Understanding: Good understanding of the overall sales process.
  • RAN Intelligence: Knowledge of SMO (Service Management and Orchestration) and Non-RT RIC (Near-Real-Time RAN Intelligent Controller).
  • AI/ML Familiarity: Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and APIs used in rApp development.
  • Containerization & CI/CD (Plus): Understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
  • OSS/BSS Integration: Experience with OSS/BSS integration and RAN analytics.
  • O-RAN Expertise: Deep knowledge of O-RAN specifications, RIC architecture, and the rApp ecosystem.
  • Industry Trends: Strong understanding of industry trends in 5G, AI/ML for RAN, and O-RAN Alliance developments.
  • Communication: Fluent in English in both oral and written communication.
