Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in either system design or in one programming language (Java, C++, Python, etc.).
- 3 years of experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in technical consulting or technical project management in environments.
- Experience in Android development.
- Experience with Java or Kotlin.
- Experience with Google Cloud integration.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Work with developers to drive adoption of quality Play features and services.
- Develop advanced product knowledge with specialization in one or more components, including dependencies on other products and teams.
- Work with external developers, generate developer insights, create written guidance, write example code, author blog posts, design APIs, and propose product changes.
- Develop an understanding of Google Play's products/solutions and underlying architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, determining the root cause for developer reported issues, building tools for diagnosis.
- Act as consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders in engineering, business, developer organizations to resolve technical integration obstacles.
