Technical Solution Architect

Job Description

As a Technical Solution Architect, you will be part of a cross-functional development team engineering

experiences of tomorrow. Your primary responsibility will be to work with the Go-to-Market organization to

generate and develop technical strategies and solutions for new and existing clients across our digital

services. You will play a key role in creating trusted partnerships, where tecHindustan delivers scalable

innovation and digital platforms tailored to the unique needs of various businesses.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable technical solutions for web, mobile, and eCommerce platforms.
• Architect and contribute to highly scalable systems, considering factors such as traffic, transaction volumes, performance, availability, and reliability.
• Evaluate and define system architecture based on expected scale, including daily transactions, requests per minute (RPM), concurrent users, and data volumes.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices in software development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architectural designs.
• Develop and maintain detailed architectural diagrams, technical documentation, and solution design documents.
• Proactively identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, security, and reliability of solutions.
• Work closely with development, DevOps, QA, and business teams to ensure successful implementation of technical solutions.
• Maintain strong hands-on knowledge of backend development and actively contribute to coding when required.
• Build Proof of Concepts (POCs), prototypes, and technical spikes to validate architecture, technologies, integrations, and proposed solutions.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, recommending improvements to existing systems.
• Provide technical expertise and solution support during the pre-sales process, including solution discussions and technical proposals.
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in software development and technical solution design.
• Strong backend development knowledge with hands-on coding experience, preferably with Node.js.
• Ability and willingness to write backend code and develop POCs/prototypes when required, rather than being limited to architecture/design activities.
• Proven experience designing and implementing highly scalable technical solutions.
• Experience working on systems handling significant scale, with a strong understanding of daily transaction volumes, RPM/traffic, concurrent users, data volumes, and system capacity.
• Ability to explain the scale and architecture of systems personally designed or contributed to, including the platform, architecture, bottlenecks, and scalability approach.
• Mandatory practical experience with DevOps practices, tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, scalability, performance, reliability, and technical problem-solving.
• Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical architectures and implementation plans.
• Proficiency in visualizing and documenting solution designs and architecture.
• Good understanding of frontend and backend technologies, databases, APIs, and system integrations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong hands-on approach to technical challenges, troubleshooting, and solution validation.

• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with automated testing and modern software delivery practices.
• Experience supporting pre-sales activities, including solution presentations, technical proposals, solution estimations, and client discussions.
• Experience designing systems for high traffic, high availability, and large transaction volumes.
• Experience with performance optimization, caching, load balancing, asynchronous processing, queues, and other scalability patterns.
