Technical Service Training Manager

Location: Pan India

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Service Training Manager to lead technical capability development across India. The role will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering technical training programs for service teams and channel partners to enhance product knowledge, technical competency, service quality, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement technical training strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct training programs for service engineers, technicians, and channel partners across India.
  • Create and update training content, manuals, SOPs, technical documentation, and e-learning modules.
  • Assess training needs and identify skill gaps within service teams.
  • Deliver product, diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair training.
  • Drive technician certification, upskilling, and competency development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Quality, and Service teams to incorporate technical updates into training programs.
  • Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, certifications, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure standardization of service processes and technical competencies across regions.
  • Maintain training records, reports, and compliance documentation.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong technical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience in technical training delivery and content development.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Knowledge of service operations, dealer management, and after-sales support.
  • Proficiency in LMS platforms, digital learning tools, and MS Office.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, or related field).
  • Training & Development certification is an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in Technical Service, After-Sales Service, or Technical Training.
  • Experience managing dealer networks and service centers on a Pan-India scale.
  • Exposure to Automotive, EV, Industrial Equipment, Consumer Durables, or related industries.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across India.
