Job Summary

We are seeking a Technical Service Representative to support installation, troubleshooting, and technical service activities for GWS products. This is a hands-on role that bridges technical support, field service, and internal coordination across sales, customer service, and engineering teams.

The role requires strong practical knowledge, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and direct interaction with customers, installers, and internal teams. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring product performance, supporting installations, and driving continuous improvement through feedback and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support & Installation

  • Gain strong technical knowledge of GWS products and their applications within a short timeframe.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and system layouts to support installations.
  • Work closely with designers, architects, and engineers to provide installation guidance.
  • Provide technical support to sales teams and customers for new installations.

Field Service & Troubleshooting

  • Conduct site pre-evaluations to ensure installation readiness.
  • Perform product installation audits to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Troubleshoot installation and performance issues both on-site and remotely (phone/online).
  • Support resolution of field issues in coordination with internal teams.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including weekly service reports.
  • Track and analyze troubleshooting cases and service data.
  • Monitor product performance and provide feedback for improvements.
  • Coordinate with engineering and product teams for service-related enhancements.

Inventory & Operational Support

  • Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability for service needs.
  • Prepare and support marketing display units, including installations for trade shows and exhibitions.
  • Assist with warehouse-related activities and product handling when required.

Cross-functional Support

  • Support Customer Services & Sales Support (CSS) team with day-to-day operational tasks.
  • Work within internal IT systems for service tracking and reporting.
  • Participate in technical, sales, and business training programs for continuous development.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related field.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in technical service, installation, or field support preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and system schematics.
  • Basic understanding of plumbing, electro-mechanical systems, or water treatment products.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with installation tools, equipment, and service processes.

Behavioral & Functional Skills

  • Strong practical and field-oriented mindset.
  • Good communication skills for customer and internal coordination.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Willingness to travel for site visits, installations, and exhibitions.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with reporting discipline.
