Job Description
Job Title: Technical Service Engineer (Willing to travel entire South Indian region)
Experience: 1-4 years
Location: St. Mark's Rd, Bangalore
Job Summary:
The Technical Service Engineer will take end-to-end ownership of customer-facing technical activities, ensuring seamless installation, optimal performance, and high customer satisfaction. This role requires proactive planning, independent execution, and close coordination with customers and internal teams to deliver a reliable and safe product experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation, Commissioning & Technical Ownership:
• Lead on-site installation, commissioning, and testing of machines to ensure readiness and compliance with technical standards.
• Take ownership of troubleshooting, breakdown resolution, and maintenance activities for assigned customers.
• Execute preventive maintenance plans and ensure machines operate at optimal performance levels.
• Conduct safety checks on all installed machines and ensure adherence to safety and quality guidelines.
• Continuously work on improving machine performance by identifying technical gaps and recommending solutions.
Technical Support, Training & Relationship Management:
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers, addressing queries via calls, emails, and in-person interactions.
• Lead customer training sessions on product usage, basic troubleshooting, and best practices.
• Build long-term, trust-based relationships with customers through clear, proactive, and solution oriented communication.
• Ensure timely resolution of customer issues and escalate concerns appropriately when required.
Preventive Maintenance, Documentation & Reporting:
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for existing customers in coordination with internal teams.
• Prepare and maintain accurate service documentation, installation records, and maintenance reports.
• Analyze service data to identify recurring issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain proper records of machine testing, performance checks, and service history.
Inventory, Coordination & Process Improvement
• Take ownership of inventory required for service and repair work, ensuring availability and proper tracking.
• Coordinate with internal teams for spare parts, tools, and technical support as needed.
• Follow defined service processes and actively suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
• Support basic project planning and scheduling to ensure timely service delivery across customer locations.
Qualifications & Skills:
• B.E. in Biomedical, Electronics, Telecommunication, or Electrical Engineering.
• Confident, reliable, and capable of working independently at customer sites.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and manage time effectively.
• Strong reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented.
