Role Summary
We are seeking aTechnical Senior Project Manager / Program Managerwith812 years of experienceto lead complex, cross-functional technology programs from initiation through delivery and stabilization. The ideal candidate is a proactive driver who canlead from the front,chair executive and working-level discussions, andenable timely stakeholder decision-makingthrough structured options, clear trade-offs, and outcome-focused governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale, multi-stream technology programs spanning engineering, product, QA, data, infrastructure, security, and business teams.
- Drive end-to-end delivery: define program structure, milestones, interdependencies, critical path, execution cadence, and value realization.
- Establish program governance:operating rhythm, status reviews, steering committees, decision forums, escalation paths, and executive reporting.
- Chair stakeholder discussionsto align on scope, priorities, delivery sequencing, and resourcing; ensure decisions are documented and executed.
- Enable stakeholder decision-making by presentingdata-driven insights, impact analysis, risks, and options (cost/schedule/scope trade-offs).
- OwnRAID(Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and mitigation plans; proactively remove blockers and manage cross-team dependencies.
- Manage scope and change: ensure controlled change intake, impact assessment, approvals, and communication across teams.
- Partner with technical leadership to ensure strong delivery discipline across SDLC: requirements clarity, architecture alignment, build/test cycles, release readiness, and post-release stabilization.
- Track and improve delivery performance using meaningful metrics (e.g., milestone predictability, throughput, quality trends, release readiness indicators) aligned to business outcomes.
- Lead vendor/partner delivery (if applicable): contract deliverables, governance, quality, and timeline adherence.
- Coach and influence project managers/coordinators; contribute to PMO standards, templates, playbooks, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 812 yearsof experience intechnical project/program management, delivering software/platform/data/infrastructure initiatives in a cross-functional environment.
- Proven ability to drive ambiguity to clarity: convert business goals into executable plans, sequencing, and measurable outcomes.
- Demonstrated leadership infacilitating and chairing stakeholder forums, aligning senior leaders, and driving decisions to closure.
- Strong command of program management fundamentals:scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk management, dependency management, governance, and benefits realization.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and delivery models (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid), with the ability to tailor governance to the delivery approach.
- Excellent communication and executive presence: produces crisp narratives, decision memos, and executive-ready program updates.
- Strong tool proficiency with typical program execution/reporting stacks (as relevant):Jira/Confluence or similar Agile tools, plus planning/reporting tools such asMS Project/Smartsheet/Excel/PowerPoint(or equivalents).
- Good to have:hands-on Agile knowledge with experience running Agile/hybrid programs, supporting scrum events, backlog alignment, and delivery predictability.
- Certifications (highly desirable):PMPand/orPgMP; Agile certifications (e.g., CSM/PSM) are a plus.
