Role Overview:
This individual operates with high autonomy and is expected to translate SEO/GEO insights into actionable recommendations that can be implemented within platform and engineering constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Ownership
- Own SEO/GEO strategy for key areas (e.g., dealer pages, inventory listings, content sections)
- Identify scalable growth opportunities across templated and dynamic page types
- Balance national and dealer-level SEO strategies where applicable
Technical SEO & Platform Optimization
- Conduct deep technical audits focused on:
- Crawl efficiency and indexation strategy
- URL structures and parameter handling
- Duplicate content and canonicalization
- Optimize site architecture and internal linking for large-scale environments
- Work within CMS/platform constraints (Dealer Inspire or similar) to implement solutions
Content & Programmatic SEO
- Develop scalable content strategies for:
- Inventory-driven pages
- Location/dealer pages
- Supporting content hubs
- Identify opportunities for programmatic SEO and template optimization
Analytics & Performance
- Analyze performance data and connect SEO/GEO efforts to business outcomes
- Identify trends, diagnose performance issues, and recommend solutions
- Build and deliver reporting with clear insights and prioritization
Cross-Functional Execution
- Partner with product and engineering teams to define and prioritize SEO/GEO requirements
- Collaborate with analytics teams on measurement frameworks and tracking accuracy
- Provide QA support for releases and ensure SEO requirements are met
Mentorship
- Provide guidance and review work for SEO Specialist I team members
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of SEO experience, preferably in enterprise, marketplace, or high-scale environments
- Strong technical SEO expertise and understanding of site architecture
- Experience working within CMS/platform constraints
- LLM query universe performance analysis
- Ability to translate data into business-relevant insights
- Experience collaborating with product, engineering, and analytics teams
- Strong communication and prioritization skills
