Technical Sales Support Specialist

The role

commissioning Casambi networks onsite, supporting partners and customers after handover, and backing the sales team with demos and system design. You are the person who makes the installation work and keeps it working. This is also a sales role: you will support our existing Bangalore partners, help bring on new ones, and turn site work into new business.

Key responsibilities

Commissioning

• Commission Casambi networks on site: pairing CBU modules, grouping, scenes, timers, sensor logic and user access.
• Configure Casambi-ready drivers, Merrytek sensors and Salvador gateways within Casambi networks.
• Set up gateways and Casambi Sites for remote access, and connect sites to Kodaa Pulse where sold.
• Hand over each site with as-built documentation and a walkthrough for the client or facilities team.

Sales and partner support

• Take an active part in sales: joint visits with the BDM to partners, architects, interior designers and end clients.
• Visit existing Bangalore partners regularly as their technical point of contact, and help onboard new partners.
• Spot upsell and new-project opportunities on site; follow up leads or pass them to the BDM.
• Read lighting layouts and drawings; propose control zoning, module and sensor counts, and bills of materials.
• Prepare technical proposals and quotations, and help close deals.
• Run technical demos and answer specifier questions.
• Advise luminaire OEMs on integrating Casambi modules into their fixtures.

After-sales support

• Be first-line support for Bangalore partners and customers by phone, WhatsApp and remote session.
• Diagnose site issues flicker, dimming curves, mesh range, sensor behaviour, gateway

connectivity and fix them on site when needed.

• Log issues and resolutions, and escalate product faults to the Mumbai team and manufacturers.
• Handle replacements and warranty cases.

Training and knowledge

• Train electricians, contractors and integrators on wiring and commissioning, both one-to-one and in workshops.
• Help keep CasaNode's commissioning checklists and troubleshooting guides up to date.
• Support Kodaa One installs in Control4 homes as that line grows.

What we're looking for

Must have

• Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation.
• Working knowledge of Casambi, or a clear aptitude to learn it fast. Casambi is the core platform; no other control protocol is required. Solid grasp of LED drivers, dimming, wiring and basic electrical safety.
• Comfortable configuring systems through mobile apps and laptops; basic networking (Wi-Fi, IP, routers).
• Methodical troubleshooting and clear site documentation, plus the confidence to handle

customer-facing sales conversations.

Good spoken English plus Kannada and/or Hindi, to work with electricians on site.

• Own two-wheeler and willingness to travel to sites.
