Job Description – Technical Sales Executive

Position: Technical Sales Executive

Department: Sales & Business Development

Company: Nakalank Digital India Pvt. Ltd.

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Role Overview

The Technical Sales Executive will be responsible for promoting and selling technical products/solutions, generating leads, understanding customer technical requirements, coordinating with internal technical teams, and ensuring customer satisfaction while achieving business targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Sales & Lead Generation

  • Identify and approach prospective clients through calls, visits, and digital platforms.
  • Understand customer technical requirements and suggest suitable products/solutions.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions.
  • Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and specifications.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and consultants.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support and post-sales coordination.
  • Handle technical queries and ensure timely resolution.

3. Site Visit & Technical Support

  • Visit client sites for requirement analysis and product explanation.
  • Coordinate with service/installation team for project execution.
  • Assist customers during installation and commissioning when required.

4. Sales Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain records of leads, inquiries, technical discussions, and sales activities.
  • Update CRM/internal tracking system regularly.
  • Submit daily/weekly/monthly reports to management.

5. Cross-Department Coordination

  • Coordinate with production, operations, accounts, and service teams.
  • Ensure proper handover of project details and client expectations.

6. Payment & Collection Follow-Up

  • Follow up with customers for payments and documentation.
  • Support accounts team in reducing outstanding payments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in EC/IC
  • 1–3 years of experience in Technical Sales / Industrial Sales (Fresher's can apply)
  • Strong technical understanding and problem-solving ability
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and achieve targets
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office, CRM tools, and digital platforms
