Role Overview
The Technical Sales Executive will be responsible for promoting and selling technical products/solutions, generating leads, understanding customer technical requirements, coordinating with internal technical teams, and ensuring customer satisfaction while achieving business targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Sales & Lead Generation
- Identify and approach prospective clients through calls, visits, and digital platforms.
- Understand customer technical requirements and suggest suitable products/solutions.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and specifications.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
2. Client Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and consultants.
- Provide pre-sales technical support and post-sales coordination.
- Handle technical queries and ensure timely resolution.
3. Site Visit & Technical Support
- Visit client sites for requirement analysis and product explanation.
- Coordinate with service/installation team for project execution.
- Assist customers during installation and commissioning when required.
4. Sales Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain records of leads, inquiries, technical discussions, and sales activities.
- Update CRM/internal tracking system regularly.
- Submit daily/weekly/monthly reports to management.
5. Cross-Department Coordination
- Coordinate with production, operations, accounts, and service teams.
- Ensure proper handover of project details and client expectations.
6. Payment & Collection Follow-Up
- Follow up with customers for payments and documentation.
- Support accounts team in reducing outstanding payments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in EC/IC
- 1–3 years of experience in Technical Sales / Industrial Sales (Fresher's can apply)
- Strong technical understanding and problem-solving ability
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, CRM tools, and digital platforms
