Role Description
We're looking for a driven, technically fluent sales professional to grow our client base across Canada and the USA. You'll be the bridge between Uplift AI's powerful platform and the agencies, SMBs, and
entrepreneurs who need it most.
- Digital Marketing Agencies — Become the go-to AI SEO partner for agencies that want to offer cutting-edge SEO services to their clients without building the tech themselves.
- Direct to Business — Target SMBs, local businesses, e-commerce brands, and entrepreneurs who need to rank on Google and AI search but can't afford an agency or full-time SEO team
What you'll own
- Prospect and qualify leads across digital marketing agencies and direct-to-business (SMBs, local businesses, e-commerce brands)
- Run tailored product demos that speak to each prospect's specific pain points — content costs, local SEO, or AI search visibility
- Build and nurture a pipeline of agency partners who can resell or refer Uplift AI to their own client base
- Own outbound across LinkedIn, cold email, and industry communities to generate your own pipeline
- Collaborate with the founding team on pricing, positioning, and feedback from the field
- Hit and exceed monthly revenue targets with a clear, structured sales process
- Maintain accurate pipeline records and report on deal progress weekly
Who You Are
- 3+ years of B2B SaaS or digital marketing sales experience
- You understand SEO, content marketing, and the shift toward AI-powered search. You can explain what GEO means without googling it
- Proven track record of closing deals, you have the numbers to back it up
- Experience selling to or within digital marketing agencies is a strong plus
- Comfortable running the full sales cycle independently — discovery, demo, proposal, close
- Excellent communicator who can simplify technical concepts for non-technical buyers
- Self-starter who thrives in a remote, fast-moving startup environment
- Based in Canada or the USA (preference for Toronto, GTA, or major US metro)
Nice To Have
- Experience with WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, or similar CMS platforms
- Existing network in the Canadian or US digital agency ecosystem
- Familiarity with tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Search Console
- Experience selling into SMBs in real estate, hospitality, home services, or food & beverag
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Technical Sales and Sales expertise
- Strong Customer Service focus and proven relationship-building abilities
- Exceptional Communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience delivering Training sessions and supporting client education
- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to team success
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Understanding of SEO and AI-driven technologies is an asset
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
