Technical Sales Manager - PI&WC, APAC (F/M/D)

Responsibilities

  • Sales & Business Development
  • Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and potential customers.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans.
  • Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored technical solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong, long‑term customer relationships.
  • Conduct regular client reviews, visits, and follow‑ups.
  • Technical Consultation & Support
  • Provide product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution recommendations.
  • Assist customers with product selection, application engineering, and configurations.
  • Handle technical queries during pre‑sales and post‑sales stages.
  • End‑to‑End Sales Cycle Management
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and technical documentation.
  • Lead commercial and technical negotiations.
  • Coordinate contract finalization and order closure.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Work with engineering, R&D, production, and service teams to deliver customer solutions.
  • Communicate customer requirements for product improvements and customizations.
  • Training & Knowledge Sharing
  • Train internal teams and channel partners on product features and technical aspects.
  • Support customers with installation guidance and troubleshooting (as needed).
  • Reporting & CRM Management
  • Maintain accurate sales pipelines and customer data.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience with Graduation in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
  • Graduated from Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Wood Science / Technology, Pulp & Paper Technology with 12+ years experience in manufacturing Industry.
  • Candidates should have experience in Paper impregnation or laminates primarily.
  • Experience in wood panel manufacturers (Particleboard/MDF), chemical suppliers (resins, additives, waxes, catalysts) and Resin manufactures is also an advantage.
  • Experience working with customers across Asia Pacific
