Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Manager – Coatings for our Additives portfolio with a strong background in R&D (Paints/Coatings) to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead technical support and business development efforts across India, manage key accounts, and help drive growth in our coating's product line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and promote Additives product lines related to coatings across India
  • Provide technical support to clients and internal teams
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions
  • Generate business through regular client visits and relationship management
  • Handle techno-commercial discussions and key account management
  • Prepare competitive offers and manage order negotiations to finalization
  • Coordinate with internal teams and clients post-sales if required
  • Lead and support the existing coatings sales team
  • Work closely with R&D, procurement, and application teams for customized solutions

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Educational Background: B.Tech/M.Tech/M.Sc in Paint Technology or related disciplines
  • Experience: Minimum 6 years in R&D or technical sales in the Paints/Coatings industry
  • Prior experience in R & D of Paints is highly desirable
  • Strong technical knowledge of coatings formulations and raw materials
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer-handling skills
  • Willingness to travel for business development and client meetings
