Job Description

Role Objective

Drive revenue growth for Elastra by acquiring and managing customers in the rubber industry (Tyres, Retreading, Conveyor Belts, Industrial Rubber Goods) through solution-based selling of technical consumables.

The role requires combining technical understanding + commercial acumen to position Elastra products as performance and cost optimization tools—not just materials.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5–12 years in B2B sales of:
  • Rubber chemicals / additive
  • Carbon black / fillers
  • Process oils / resins
  • Reclaim rubber / crumb rubber
  • Any technical consumables in rubber industry

Industry Exposure

  • Must have handled at least one:
  • Tyre / retreading industry
  • Conveyor belt / industrial rubber goods

Skill Requirements

  • Technical Understanding (Non-negotiable)
  • Basic knowledge of rubber compounding
  • Understanding of:
  • Fillers, polymers, curing systems
  • Process challenges (dispersion, bonding, wear, heat buildup)
  • Commercial Sharpness
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to defend pricing using logic, not discounts
  • Consultative Selling
