Job Description

Role Summary:

We are hiring a driven and technically fluent Sales Executive to grow our client base in the utility-scale solar PV sector. You will own the full sales cycle — from prospecting IPPs, EPC contractors, and O&M companies to closing software subscription and services contracts.

Responsibilities:

Identify and prospect target accounts: IPPs, solar developers, EPC contractors, O&M operators, and asset management firms with utility-scale solar PV portfolios across India.

Generate leads via cold outreach, industry events, referrals, and digital channels.

Own a qualified pipeline and accurately forecast revenue in CRM.

Conduct compelling platform demos of drone data analytics, thermal inspection software, IV curve reporting, and yield performance dashboards — tailored to each client's O&M or asset management pain points.

Translate geospatial and software capabilities into clear ROI narratives for technical and commercial stakeholders.

Negotiate and close service contracts, professional services, and data analytics contracts.

Manage onboarding handover to technical teams; nurture accounts for upsell and renewal.

Represent the company at industry forums and client site visits.

Qualification and Skills Required:

Graduate with 2–4 years of B2B software / SaaS / technology sales experience, preferably in GIS, geospatial, remote sensing, or renewable energy software.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets; experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.

Strong understanding of the Indian utility-scale solar PV ecosystem — developers, IPPs, EPC firms, and O&M operators.

Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging both C-suite and technical audiences.

Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) and pipeline management.

Willingness to travel pan-India for client meetings and site visits.
