Job Description

We are sourcing for one of our clients a well-established India distributor of engineering simulation software and RF/microwave solutions with over 40 years of presence in the Indian market and partnerships with globally recognized OEM brands.

Compensation ₹7–10 LPA fixed + performance bonus

Location & Work Model

  • Hyderabad | Bangalore - Hybrid (Office located in Ahmedabad )

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own the full sales cycle - from prospecting and demos to negotiation and closure
  • Sell high-value engineering software licenses (simulation, EM analysis, RF/microwave design tools) and associated hardware
  • Build and maintain relationships with engineers, researchers, and procurement decision-makers at organizations like DRDO, ISRO, BEL, HAL, IITs, and private defense/telecom companies
  • Identify new accounts while growing revenue from existing ones (license renewals are a key part of this role)
  • Collaborate closely with internal technical experts for product demonstrations and solutioning
  • Represent the company at industry events, technical seminars, and client visits

What We're Looking For

  • 2–6 years of experience in B2B or technical sales - you must have owned a quota, not just supported one
  • Engineering background in ECE, EEE, Telecom, Instrumentation, or Aerospace (B.E./B.Tech preferred)
  • Ability to hold a credible technical conversation with design engineers - you don't need to be a simulation expert, but you need to understand what problems they're solving
  • Consultative selling approach - you ask the right questions before pitching
  • Familiarity with long sales cycles and institutional/government procurement is a strong plus
  • Prior experience selling into Defense, Aerospace, Telecom, or R&D organizations is highly valued
