Its flagship product, atmos, is India's first scientifically validated, affordable, sensor-based real-time air quality monitoring solution used by governments, construction sites and high-emission industries to enhance SDG and ESG performance. Through collaborations with leading scientific research institutions, Respirer has helped position Make-In-India IoT sensor technologies as scalable, cost-effective options for emerging markets. The team of climate scientists and engineers is expanding its IoT and big data capabilities to areas such as city level air quality monitoring, construction sector, indoor air quality, mining and industrial process optimization.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical Sales Engineer role based in the Pune Division. The Technical Sales Engineer will engage with prospective and existing customers to understand their environmental monitoring needs, demonstrate Respirer's IoT and air-quality solutions, and provide technically sound recommendations tailored to client requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include

1.Conducting product presentations and demos, preparing technical and commercial proposals, responding to technical queries, and supporting the sales team in bid responses and negotiations.

2.Close collaboration with engineering and operations teams to ensure accurate solution design, smooth

deployments, and effective post-sales technical support.

3.The Technical Sales Engineer will also gather customer feedback, contribute to product improvement

discussions, and maintain detailed documentation of opportunities, accounts, and activities in CRM tools.

4.Follow-up on orders, drive deal closure and ensure timely payment collection from customers.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in Technical Sales and Sales to identify opportunities, build pipelines, and convert leads into successful deployments.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Sales Engineering and Technical Support to translate customer requirements into configurations and provide ongoing technical assistance.
  • Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant experience in IoT, environmental monitoring, or related engineering domains is highly beneficial.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Physics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to work on-site in Pune Division, travel to customer locations as needed, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with technical documentation, proposal writing, and basic data analysis tools; familiarity with ESG/SDG frameworks is a plus.
