Job Description

Technical Sales Engineer:

As a Technical Sales Professional, He/ she will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by selling technical products or services to clients. His/ Her primary responsibility will be to combine his/her technical knowledge with sales expertise to effectively communicate the value proposition of the products or services we are offering. He/ She will engage with potential clients, understand their needs, and present solutions that meet those needs while also achieving sales targets. Additionally, He/She will collaborate closely with the technical team to ensure that the solutions proposed align with the clients requirements and are technically feasible.

Location: Hyderabad/Delhi

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prospect potential clients within a designated market segment or industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients/ partners through regular communication and meetings.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand clients technical requirements and business objectives.
  • Present product demonstrations, proposals, and solutions to clients, effectively articulating the value proposition and addressing any technical questions or concerns.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to customize solutions and ensure they meet clients specifications.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms of agreements with clients, ensuring favorable outcomes for both parties.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to remain competitive in the market.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise post-sale.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the organization.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates for management review.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 year core Technicalsales experience in a relevantfield
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. (Preferred)
  • Proven track record of successful technical sales experience, preferably in the technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of technical products or services being sold, with the ability to translate technical features into business benefits.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales productivity tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn about new technologies and industries.
  • Relevant certifications in sales or technical fields are a plus.
