We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Sales Engineer based in Chennai to drive business growth across South India. The primary responsibility of this role is to identify opportunities, engage with industrial customers, understand their operational and maintenance challenges, and position Intellithink's predictive and prescriptive maintenance platform as a strategic solution.

The role requires extensive travel across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Kerala, working closely with Plant Heads, Reliability Managers, Maintenance Teams, Operations Leaders, and CXO-level stakeholders. The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, conducting product demonstrations, preparing techno-commercial proposals, managing sales cycles, and closing business opportunities.

The focus will be on large and mid-sized manufacturing organizations including Automotive OEMs, Auto Component Manufacturers, EV Manufacturers, Metals, Heavy Engineering, Chemicals, Cement, Power, Electronics, and other process industries, with particular emphasis on the Chennai–Sriperumbudur–Oragadam, TADA industrial corridor and the broader South Indian manufacturing ecosystem.

The ideal candidate should possess a B.E./B.Tech degree and have 3–8 years of experience in industrial, technical, software, SaaS, automation, or engineering solution sales. Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills are essential. Experience in selling technology solutions to manufacturing customers and familiarity with Industry 4.0, Industrial IoT, AI, reliability, or digital transformation initiatives will be highly advantageous.
