Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements, take measurements, and understand scope of work first-hand.

• Read, interpret, and prepare drawings (structural, architectural, and fabrication) to develop accuratequotations and BOQs.

• Carry out price research — source competitive rates from vendors, sub-contractors, and material suppliers for all outsourced items.

• Manage vendor relationships: identify, evaluate, negotiate, and coordinate with vendors and fabricators for procurement and outsourcing.

• Engage with clients (civil contractors, architects, developers, and consultants) to present Proqyur's capabilities, follow up on leads, and close orders.

• Prepare professional quotations, rate comparisons, and technical proposals tailored to each client's requirements.

• Coordinate between the client, design team, and execution team to ensure smooth project handovers and delivery timelines.

• Maintain CRM records (Zoho CRM) — log calls, meeting notes, pipeline updates, and follow-up tasks.

• Represent Proqyur at client offices, project sites, and industry events in a professional and technically credible manner.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• B.E. / B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent technical diploma with strong field experience).

• 3–7 years of experience in a technical sales, estimation, or business development role within construction, fabrication, or infrastructure.

• Demonstrated experience working directly with civil contractors, architects, and on active construction sites.

Technical Skills

• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, or equivalent drafting software — should be able to prepare basic shop drawings and layouts.

• Understanding of materials, fabrication processes, and construction methodology (steel, GI, aluminium, concrete, stone).

• Competence in preparing BOQs, rate analyses, and cost estimates.

Communication & Languages

• Fluent in English, Hindi, and Telugu — spoken and written. Must be confident presenting to clients and negotiating with vendors in all three languages.

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to manage client expectations professionally.

Other Requirements

• Own vehicle (two-wheeler or four-wheeler) for daily commute to office, client meetings, and site visits across Hyderabad and surrounding areas.

• Willingness to travel to project sites outside Hyderabad as needed.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-project environment with tight deadlines.
