We are seeking a motivated and technically adept Technical Sales Engineer to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical and sales aspects, providing expert support to our clients while driving sales growth.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical support during sales presentations.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers.
- Respond to technical inquiries from customers and provide solutions to technical issues.
- Assist in the development of proposals and tenders, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with customer specifications.
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers and sales staff.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitor products.
- Participate in trade shows and technical conferences to promote products and gather market intelligence.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related field) or equivalent experience(( 1 to 3 years).
- Strong technical knowledge of the products being sold.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in using technical software and tools relevant to the engineering field.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel (Pan India) as required for customer meetings and presentations.
