Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical Sales Engineer role based in Mumbai. The Technical Sales Engineer will identify and develop new business opportunities, manage existing accounts, and promote the company's hydraulic, pneumatic, and related product lines to industrial clients. Responsibilities include understanding customer applications, proposing suitable technical solutions, preparing quotations, and conducting product demonstrations at customer locations. The role involves providing pre- and post-sales technical support, coordinating with internal teams for order execution, and ensuring timely resolution of customer issues. The Technical Sales Engineer will also gather market intelligence, participate in tenders and negotiations, and maintain accurate records of sales activities and forecasts.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Technical Sales and Sales, with experience in industrial or engineering products.
- Experience in Sales Engineering, including solution-based selling and application-specific product recommendations.
- Ability to provide effective Technical Support, including troubleshooting and product guidance.
- Excellent Communication skills for client interaction, presentations, and documentation.
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, tools, and industrial maintenance or construction environments is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to work independently in the field, manage territory-based sales, and meet or exceed targets.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as required within the region.
